The girls also competed very well, taking third place (111) behind champion Monroe (157) and Darlington (147.5). They too claimed seven first place finishes led by triple winner Emma Lawrence who claimed gold in the 100HH (16.21), 300LH (45.79), and the triple jump (34' 8"), double winner Paige Murphy LJ (17' 1.75"), and 200m (27.87), Brianna Leahy in the shot (39' 8") and Trinity Law in the HJ (5'0").  Paige's leap in the long jump set a new Tri-Op record.  The 4x100 relay (Matthews, Law, Jerry, Murphy) took second (53.31) while the 4x200 relay (Matthews, Law, Jerry, Murphy) grabbed third (1:55.34).  The next meets up are a Quad in Platteville (5-9), on Fri.
